Middletown Township hosts Earth Day park clean up

This event is set for April 24

Celebrate Earth Day this year with Middletown Township Parks & Recreation, which is hosting a park clean up on Saturday, April 24, from 9 to 11 a.m. Volunteers from neighborhoods in the surrounding areas of five community parks are invited to get involved.

Clean ups will be held at: Middletown Community Park, Twin Oaks Park, Firefighter’s Park, Cobalt/Quincy Hollow Green Belt and Forsythia Crossing Park & Greenbelt.

Volunteers who clean up the most trash at their location will receive environmentally friendly prizes, courtesy of The Diane Loomis Team.

All participants must wear masks and try to socially distance as best they can from those outside their immediate household. Trash bags and gloves will be provided to volunteers.
